- There are no support vehicles, tail runners or marshals. The aim of the race is for you to find your own way back!

The following will get you disqualified:
- Use of a gps device. Recording your progress is acceptable, but the device you use will have to be sealed in the emergency bag. (We will supply this and seal it for you!)
- Using a map
- Using anything except your own two legs to get you to the finish!
- Breaking the seal on the emergency kit bag
- Arriving after the cut off times: 4 hours for 15 mile and 3 hours for 10 mile

Start Times:
These will depend on the exact location of the drop, expect this to be anything between 08:40 and 09:15.
Cut off times:
If you can't make the generous cut off times, DO NOT enter this event, you will be putting yourself and our team at risk. (15 miles as the crow flies could end up been being 20 depending how lost you get).
15 mile = 4 hours
10 mile = 3 hours
Prizes:
Memento for all finishers.
What support is available along the route?
There is NO support available after the start, first aid, physio, toilets or water.
There will be NO sweeper vehicle, you have to make your own way back.
What is the terrain?
How the heck do we know, the route is your choice, hills, moors, canals, tracks and road... Legal rights of way only.
What kit do I need to bring on the day?
There are several things that you will need on the day to help you to perform your best. The following list is just a suggestion of what we have found useful:
Mandatory kit - Mandatory Kit list regardless of the weather for all competitors, this is the minimum we will expect you to have.
How can I check race results?
If you finish, the race results will be published on our website (within two 2 hours of race ending) under 'Results'. You can also view the results on the day from our stand at the NEC.
Can under 18-year-olds enter your events?
Sorry but due to Child Protection and new Insurance restrictions, we do not currently allow any under 18-year olds, to enter our events.
Do I need to bring any forms with me?
Yes, photo id is required, this can be a photocopy or photo of your passport or driving licence, please bring this with you to registration. You will need to provide your name, address details & up to date emergency contact. (We have a small form for you to complete).
Are there any water / feed station?
NO (but... take some money with you, you may pass a shop)
Drop Bag
Please leave a drop bag at registration with us this will be waiting for you at our stand. LEAVE NOTHING ON THE BUS!
Your drop bag can be no bigger than 75 X 48 X 104 cm this is the same size as a shoe box.
Where do I park?
The venue has masses of parking, please park sensibly or use public transport!
Refunds
There will be no refunds. from the moment you enter we incur costs.
Change of participant
You wish to have another competitor take your place a £10.00 admin charge will be made, you MUST inform us no later than January 10th, this can NOT be done on the day, a link to pay admin fee will be provided.

- Warm/suitable clothes for prior to pre and post after the event, these can be left at the event centre.
- A bag no bigger than 75x48x104cm this is the same size as a shoe box.
- Race numbers - pinned/attached to your race t-shirt/top or race belt, and any medical conditions clearly written on the back of your number (race numbers and pins are collected at registration).
- You will need to show your race numbers for the duration of the event.
Mandatory kit - Mandatory Kit list regardless of the weather for all competitors, this is the minimum we will expect you to have.
- • Waterproof jacket - not a log flume poncho or super market fashion jacket, it has to have a waterproof membrane with taped seams
- • Foil blanket
- • Whistle
- .GPS tracker, we will supply this at registration to be returned to us at the finish
